Prayer
May we go to him in prayer as we gather here today. I ask you to hold hands as we seek his blessings.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for this special day. Today, we celebrate the friendships that were created during simpler times in elementary, middle, and high schools in the Lower Richland community during the late 60s and early 70s. It is evident with those in attendance today that these friendships and shared experiences have remained in our hearts over the past five decades.
Heavenly Father, you have blessed the people here today, who are unique in each of our lives because, regardless of where life has led us and the individuals we have met, only those in this room and others in the Lower Richland community shared those formative years with us, creating those special memories. For those friends who cannot be with us today due to illness, we ask you to be with them and provide their medical providers your healing hands as they treat our dear friends.
Heavenly Father, we give you praise as we break bread with the food you have provided while enjoying these special friendships. May you continue to bless these LR Friends and their families. We ask this in your name, Amen.
